Close to Beamish, Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Washington., the Briar Rose had a 5 bubble rating from Trip Advisor prior to its withdrawl from the UK Holiday Cottage market. We still receive consistently excellent reviews from our guests as we have done since opening in 2016.
This 2 bedroom bungalow is ideal for couples, small families and older couples who prefer comfortably furnished properties without stairs. Centrally located within the region, it is ideally located for exploring the many attractions be they north, south east or west.
The bungalow can be rented for periods of 2 days to 4 weeks. It is also available for longer duration’s e.g relocation to the area; temporary accommodation during a home move; periods of home renovation or maintenance; business or training visits and so forth. The price per day decreases with the length of the rental. All prices include VAT which our business guests can often reclaim.
The Briar Rose is a well equipped, warm and comfortably furnished 2 bedroom bungalow with a comfortable lounge, large well equipped kitchen diner, a south facing patio and well maintained front and rear gardens. Free hi speed wifi, bed linen, bedding, towels, cleaning products and even tea and coffee are all supplied. All you have to do is bring your cloths and personal effects. Our housekeeping service ensures the property is ready for you on arrival. A cleaning service can be available during your stay, on request. The driveway can accommodate 2 cars. We offer our guests so much more than a hotel. This truly is your Home from Home.
