The majority of families mark Christmas by putting up and decorating a Christmas tree in their homes over the Christmas period. We have done this for our guests over the Christmas period to ensure they feel “home from home”.

The summer of 2018 has been amazing here in the north east. The sizzling weather combined with all the ongoing outdoor festivals in the region have been a true feast for visitors to the area. Earlier this month the annual Tall Ships Race visited Sunderland, providing a magnificent spectacle for visitors. 2018 Prices and Terms and Conditions
Great news. BT have finally upgraded the broadband network in the area. From January 2018 guests at the Briar Rose will now be able to access the internet at lightning fast speeds allowing excellent data streaming and conferencing connections.
The 2017 Durham Lumiere was another big success and enjoyed by a large turnout. This may now be ended but there are lots of new adventures and activities going on in the region. Want to find out more then visit our Facebook page for lots of up-to-date information.
